সে সাধনায় মিশিয়া যায় বকুলগন্ধ

(The toil in which dissolves the essence of 'BAKUL')

সে সাধনায় মিলিয়া যায় কবির ছন্দ

(Poetic rhythm adds flavour to that)

তুমি জান না, ঢেকে রেখেছি তোমার নাম

(You do not know, I have secured your name)

রঙিন ছায়ার আচ্ছাদনে

(Under a colorful shade)

আমি তোমার সঙ্গে বেঁধেছি আমার প্রাণ সুরের বাঁধনে 

(I have tried knots with you in a melodious binding)

তোমার অরূপ মূর্তিখানি ফাল্গুনের আলোতে বসাই আনি, অরূপ মূর্তিখানি

(I place your idol into the divine light of the spring, your idol)

বাঁশরি বাজাই ললিত-বসন্তে, সুদূর দিগন্তে 

(In the distant sky, I play the flute in the scariest of spring)
